Nostalgia: noun. "a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time"

With the unwanted social and governmental pressure to drive woefully dull cars that have no soul or character, a generation of car enthusiasts are either returning to their pasts or are determined to maintain their passions for Japanese classic cars.. We are championing this movement..

JPN launched in 2005 (originally as BHP Imports) as an import agency service dedicated to importing only the best examples from Japan. We primarily operate through a select handful of trusted Auction Houses which have been chosen through our 19 years in business.

Our dedication is to making the import process as easy and exciting as possible. We have expert staff on hand in our offices in Gateshead and Newport, UK as well as in Osaka, Japan who understand your requirements for your next import car.

Looking for something rare? Maybe you've spotted something on Goo-Net or Carsensor?

..or maybe you want a better idea of total cost?

Our dealer portal brings in data from multiple sources across Japan. This API is updated every 30 minutes so is a good representation as to what is available right now..

We have broken down the condition reporting used by the different sourcing platforms and replaced it with a simple star rating from 0-5 with a notice for cars that have a history of repairs and/or accident damage.

Auction Data Analysis

Over the last 5 years we have seen many JDM models more than double in value. Through our historic sales data it is now possible to track sales prices from auction houses that release sold prices. For certain vehicles we are also populating our database with sold prices from USS houses for a more complete data set.

Endless 6 Piston System Brake Kit (Front)

Right in the FEEL's

There's an extra level of magic when you meet enthusiasts and owners at events like Japanese car fest. The overcast skies did little to dampen the palpable atmosphere of child-like glee. The sight of so many unusual and highly unique modified vehicles in one place is almost too much to take in.

We did a thing..

Genuine Spoon shell, built by Eurotech the previous BTCC winning team. This car was a spare shell during the time that Eurotech were campaigning the DC5 Type Rs and has subsequently never been raced. It was then made into a PR car and made up with new, genuine Honda parts. The build also includes a full T45 International Custom Cages.

Original BCNR33 V-Spec is something special..

BCNR33, the ugly duckling, the odd one out, the black sheep. However you see the R33 GT-R, it still has a place in JDM legend. It was the last of the three cars to really boom in value but it's now well on its way to matching the price of the R32 GT-R.

Eurobeat Intensifies!

Launched in Japan in 1983, the Toyota Corolla GT Coupe needs no introduction. Oft-referred to as "AE86" in reference to its chassis code; it's a drifting legend and a keen driver's delight. But there's one AE86 that's more famous than any other; the white-over-black model that appeared in classic Manga series "Initial D" in 1995, and in the live-action remake of 2005.
