Over the last 5 years we have seen many JDM models more than double in value. Through our historic sales data it is now possible to track sales prices from auction houses that release sold prices. For certain vehicles we are also populating our database with sold prices from USS houses for a more complete data set.
How to Analyse Sold DataThere's an extra level of magic when you meet enthusiasts and owners at events like Japanese car fest. The overcast skies did little to dampen the palpable atmosphere of child-like glee. The sight of so many unusual and highly unique modified vehicles in one place is almost too much to take in.
Genuine Spoon shell, built by Eurotech the previous BTCC winning team. This car was a spare shell during the time that Eurotech were campaigning the DC5 Type Rs and has subsequently never been raced. It was then made into a PR car and made up with new, genuine Honda parts. The build also includes a full T45 International Custom Cages.
BCNR33, the ugly duckling, the odd one out, the black sheep. However you see the R33 GT-R, it still has a place in JDM legend. It was the last of the three cars to really boom in value but it's now well on its way to matching the price of the R32 GT-R.
Launched in Japan in 1983, the Toyota Corolla GT Coupe needs no introduction. Oft-referred to as "AE86" in reference to its chassis code; it's a drifting legend and a keen driver's delight. But there's one AE86 that's more famous than any other; the white-over-black model that appeared in classic Manga series "Initial D" in 1995, and in the live-action remake of 2005.

View all JDM UnicornsHighly Recommended, Andy and Baz answered any question quickly , and there were a few of them! Excellent communication throughout the process. Would definatley recommend anyone looking for an Import ask these guys first , you wont be dissapointed. As for the car itself, was immaculatley prepped for me picking it up, any work required was carried out was outlined from the start.
Imported R34 GTR V-specII back early last year 2015. Visited other importers before settling on using BHPimports. The cost for doing the work involved to get the car from Japan was great and extremely clean and in great condition! Would use again which I exactly did the start of this year in the hunt for a Honda NSX! Andy found me the perfect one a manual red UK car, so two rare and perfect examples i have now recieved. Roll on the third rare car maybe a 1972 skyline GTR...
About 8months ago I bought a evo 5 from Andy and Baz and couldn't be any happier. They literally walked me through the whole process and answered every question I had obviously I'm not there only customer but they made all the time they could to make me feel at ease it's a massive thing buying something you have never seen in person but I feel 100 percent confident buying with them thanks again lads 100 percent recommend.
Posted in a Facebook group that I was looking to buy some mugen pedals but couldn't actually find any. Baz messaged me and said he could import some from japan for me. I can only say that he did an absolutely amazing job. Got my original mugen pedals after very little time and the price was amazing too. I'm talking significantly lower than any shop online (and those couldn't actually get me a set), tracking code, good pictures of the pedals and everything provided within seconds. Baz is an absolute legend when it comes to customer support, this guy seriously understands what top notch customer service is. Whenever I had any questions or so he answered literally within seconds and always kept me up to date on my Pedals. One of the most hard working and honest guy that I have met in many many years. It doesn't get any better than this! Would 10/10 recommend them to anyone looking to import a vehicle or looking to buy some rare japanese parts.
