Kakimoto Racing, also written as Kakimoto Kai, is a famous Japanese performance exhaust manufacturer. They’re best known for JDM exhaust systems, especially for Nissans, Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus, Mazdas, Mitsubishis, Suzukis and Daihatsus.
The company began in 1975, originally connected with street tuning and racing activity. Kakimoto’s history says the founder was a race driver and tuner who broke Suzuka Circuit records and became well known for L-series engine tuning.

I used bhp imports after a few friends recommended them. After the first coversation it was clear this was the company to use andy/ baz knowledge of jdm cars is unreal. Bhp Imports imported my dream car, an r34 gtr in bayside blue. Right from the start Andy was open and honest about everything, informing me of the various points of importing a car and answered any questions I had. Throughout the process and transit of the car there were no hidden fees or extras added on without me knowing. Everything was exactly as he had explained to me when we first met and always stayed in contact. I couldn't rate BHP Imports higher and if anyone is interested in importing a vehicle I would back them 100%. Excellent company. Excellent bloke. Excellent service.
Unfortunately I wasn't aware of BHP Imports when I purchased my current car however after a few recent conversations with Andy I took advantage of the offer to have a comprehensive Japanese report produced. The report included history on all of the promised details along with photo's of the car going through the auction house, this will no doubt be an invaluable addition to the cars history and I'll have no hesitation whatsoever in using Andy and his team for my next JDM vehicle purchase, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
