Tomei is one of Japan’s most respected engine-performance brands. Their slogan is "The Engine Specialist", and that fits the company well: Tomei is especially known for engine internals, camshafts, stroker kits, turbos, exhaust manifolds and titanium exhaust systems.
Tomei was founded in 1968 as Tomei Motor Inc. by Seiichi Suzuki, who was a tuner and Nissan works driver, together with other car enthusiasts. The company later became TOMEI POWERED, and its roots are strongly connected to Nissan racing engine development. Tomei says it started as a Nissan-type racing constructor, but later developed engines and parts for many different manufacturers.

The team in Japan know their stuff when it comes to the cars and Andys service once the car lands in the UK is second to none. Your car will be ready for the UK roads without having to worry about anything else (e.g undersealing, servicing, clock changes). People worry about importing a car from another country but in my experience I've had less complications with the cars than the UK ones. When it comes to buying another car I'll be heading straight back to BHP cars.

After trying to source some Endless brake discs and pads from supposed 'specialists' without success, BHP came up trumps. Great price, very swift delivery from Japan and superb communication throughout. A massive thumbs up for a top quality company. A recent house purchase means that my plans to import another JDM vehicle are on ice for the moment. But when that time comes, it's going to be BHP all the way!
