The company started in 1982 as Twin Power, later became closely associated with HKS under the HKS Kansai Service name, and today operates as Kansai Service. Their own history page lists the 1982 founding, and a Yokohama/ADVAN feature describes the shop as having led the Japanese tuning scene for over 40 years through names including Twin Power, HKS Kansai Service, and Kansai Service.

I've imported 3 cars with BHP Cars now and every time they are in fantastic condition. The team in Japan know their stuff when it comes to the cars and Andys service once the car lands in the UK is second to none. Your car will be ready for the UK roads without having to worry about anything else (e.g undersealing, servicing, clock changes). People worry about importing a car from another country but in my experience I've had less complications with the cars than the UK ones. When it comes to buying another car I'll be heading straight back to BHP cars.
Andy imported my DC5 last year for me. The service that he provided was excellent from start to finish. I knew what I wanted and told him, his team then went and found it. He was in contact with me every step of the way and I loved hearing updates of where the teg was and what was being done. Andy takes care of everything and I've had so many comments about my car. I decided to use Andy @ BHP Imports to source me an R34 GTR on a reasonably 'strict' budget. Andy did not disappoint, i am now in possession of a VERY clean and well looked after R34 fresh off the boat. I have a few other Japanese cars on the 'to do' list so will definitely use again!
The best importer in the UK, the level of care is next to none. They will happily go out of their way to help you and that's rare in this line of work. I have an amazing car thanks to them and even though I'm at the other end of the country ill always use bhp imports.
