Kakimoto Racing, also written as Kakimoto Kai, is a famous Japanese performance exhaust manufacturer. They’re best known for JDM exhaust systems, especially for Nissans, Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus, Mazdas, Mitsubishis, Suzukis and Daihatsus.
The company began in 1975, originally connected with street tuning and racing activity. Kakimoto’s history says the founder was a race driver and tuner who broke Suzuka Circuit records and became well known for L-series engine tuning.

The guys Andy and Baz have a lot of import knowledge and work so hard to deliver what the customer wants. They are always contactable to answer questions whether it be for parts or cars. I have purchased a lot of car parts through them over the last 8 months but yesterday i collected my 23k mile 1st gen Honda CRV time capsule from Andy in Newcastle. The thing is so clean and their effort to make sure it was the right car was huge. The car was prepped to the highest standard. Most importantly my family and I love it, no doubt it will be running for another 19 years.
I used bhp imports after a few friends recommended them. After the first coversation it was clear this was the company to use andy/ baz knowledge of jdm cars is unreal. I was after something for a dailly so we decided the accord cl7 euro r would be the best choice. After a few weeks i had already won my car and was informed at every step of the way. Had the car a few weeks and im not dissapointed. I would recommend any other company for importing a car. They were a pleasure to deal with start to finish.
Highly Recommended, Andy and Baz answered any question quickly , and there were a few of them! Excellent communication throughout the process. Would definatley recommend anyone looking for an Import ask these guys first , you wont be dissapointed. As for the car itself, was immaculatley prepped for me picking it up, any work required was carried out was outlined from the start.
Very highly recommend Andy and Baz, I contacted them looking for a very particular completely unmolested Civic Eg6, they started the search almost immediately and they managed to find what I was looking for. The car underwent a bit of bodywork TLC upon arrival in the UK and it looks absolutely stunning. The process has been so easy from start to finish and been a joy to import through BHP Imports! 10/10
