Kakimoto Racing, also written as Kakimoto Kai, is a famous Japanese performance exhaust manufacturer. They’re best known for JDM exhaust systems, especially for Nissans, Toyotas, Hondas, Subarus, Mazdas, Mitsubishis, Suzukis and Daihatsus.
The company began in 1975, originally connected with street tuning and racing activity. Kakimoto’s history says the founder was a race driver and tuner who broke Suzuka Circuit records and became well known for L-series engine tuning.

About 8months ago I bought a evo 5 from Andy and Baz and couldn't be any happier. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of BHP Imports when I purchased my current car however after a few recent conversations with Andy I took advantage of the offer to have a comprehensive Japanese report produced. The report included history on all of the promised details along with photo's of the car going through the auction house, this will no doubt be an invaluable addition to the cars history and I'll have no hesitation whatsoever in using Andy and his team for my next JDM vehicle purchase, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
Can't thank Andy and Baz enough for supplying me with My Volvo. They provide a great service and customer support all throughout the prep and sale side. Massive thanks to the lad who done the ceramic coat as well, the car looks brand new inside and out. The amount of time and effort these guys put in is unreal. They come highly recommended.
