HKS is one of the biggest and most famous Japanese tuning brands. It makes performance parts for street cars, track cars, drift cars, drag cars and serious demo builds. The name comes from Hasegawa, Kitagawa and Sigma: Hiroyuki Hasegawa, Goichi Kitagawa, and Sigma Automotive, which helped provide the original backing. HKS was founded in 1973 near Mount Fuji.
HKS became famous early because it was one of the pioneers of Japanese turbo tuning. In 1974, HKS introduced a turbo kit for the Skyline GC100 L20 engine, which HKS describes as the world’s first turbocharger kit of its kind for a passenger car.

About 8months ago I bought a evo 5 from Andy and Baz and couldn't be any happier. Bhp Imports imported my dream car, an r34 gtr in bayside blue. Right from the start Andy was open and honest about everything, informing me of the various points of importing a car and answered any questions I had. Throughout the process and transit of the car there were no hidden fees or extras added on without me knowing. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of BHP Imports when I purchased my current car however after a few recent conversations with Andy I took advantage of the offer to have a comprehensive Japanese report produced. The report included history on all of the promised details along with photo's of the car going through the auction house, this will no doubt be an invaluable addition to the cars history and I'll have no hesitation whatsoever in using Andy and his team for my next JDM vehicle purchase, an absolute pleasure to deal with.
