• By adopting an enclosed design, the intake of hot air into the engine compartment is effectively minimized. This innovative approach leads to a remarkable decrease of up to 60% in intake air temperature during WLTC mode, surpassing the exposed HKS Super Power Flow system. This significant reduction in intake air temperature helps optimize engine performance and overall efficiency.
• Compared to the previous installation of the HKS special piping kit, there has been a substantial reduction in pressure loss by 46%. This remarkable improvement is accomplished through an enlarged suction capacity and an increased cross-sectional area for introducing outside air. By utilizing dual intake ducts, the system enables approximately 2.4 times more air to enter compared to the stock system. • To tackle the persistent challenge of intake air interference in the RB26 twin-turbo layout, an anti-surge plate, alternatively referred to as a surge suppression rectifier plate, has been implemented within the suction pipe. By maintaining a steady and unobstructed airflow, optimal performance is preserved, ensuring a seamless driving experience.
• To ensure uniform operating conditions for both the front and rear turbines, the geometry of the 2-in-1 chamber pipe has been meticulously optimized. This enhancement leads to a more balanced flow and improved overall performance. Notably, when compared to conventional HKS special piping kits, the flow discrepancy between the front and rear turbines has been remarkably reduced by 90%. This significant reduction in flow discrepancy contributes to enhanced efficiency and a more harmonized performance across the twin-turbo system.
